Smith Lake Wilderness Skills Weekend
Mar 18 - 20th, 2016

If you have ever wanted to learn a wide range of basic primitive and wilderness survival skills, come join us for an exciting weekend of hands-on skills. This class will cover many of the standard survival skills such as shelter building, fire-making, cordage and water procurement. The difference in attending a class sponsored by Smoky Mountains School of Fieldcraft is our instructors don't practice primitive and wilderness skills, we live it.

James Gibson of Knobcreek Forge is a master woodsman, bladesmith and all around expert with hands-on skills. James is nationally known as a knifemaker, with several of his designs being produced by ESSE Knives and carried around the world.

Darryl Patton is known as a walking encyclopedia of edible/medicinal plants and has years of experience as a trapper, medic and general outdoorsman.

This weekend will be taking place just outside of Cullman, Alabama near Smith Lake on a private 160 acre farm so come prepared for camping on site. To register for the class, you can click on the Paypal link or send a check to the address on the flyer. If you have any issues with the paypal link, you can directly paypal the fee to darryl@thesouthernherbalist.com.

This class is limited in size and is on a first serve basis. For more information, you can contact Darryl (256-504-1603).
